Manchmal sind Wege kaum zu sehen und trotzdem spaßig zu fahren. Manchmal sind Wege auf der Karte besser, in echt aber viel schlechter zu fahren. Im #Jura ist der Grat zwischen Fahrspaß und #hikeabike oft ganz schön schmal. Und kaum vorhersagbar. Aber großartige Landschaft!

Upside: there’s a network of bike paths that get you almost the whole way through Irvine, CA.
Downside: some they label as “ebike paths” 😅

The #hikeAbike across the HOA with nearly knee deep snow in places took almost an hour. Can’t do that everyday. Need MO-DOT KC to hurry up and clear it. I was exhausted by the crossing and still had a 5+ miles to ride. #nothanks

The #hikeAbike crossing of the HOA bridge tonight had me pondering finding a friend with a truck to get me across the bridge. Going to work I rode the traffic lane. Done it before but the South bound traffic lane is scary. With no shoulder, up hill, and approaching traffic is coming from a stop.

If you’re thinking about fat biking in West Bragg today… don’t! Way too much snow and nothing groomed yet.
Go skiing instead!
