Photos on a beach with beautiful colors, the deep sea-green and dark grey clouds, the beach is a warm beige. I was trying to make photos of a scarf but the wind was too much. Anyway, the viscose scarf is made of irregular strips with shades of red, rusty brown, lime, army green, turquoise. It has strips of patchwork made of even smaller pieces. Most of the scarf is made of leftovers after cutting blouses. This way I create happy colorful scarves without creating more waste.
When the colors of the sea, the sky and the sand are so beautiful but the wind is too much to make photos of a scarf....

Scarf made of irregular strips of silk and a bit of linen, with strips of even smaller patchwork, made with pieces that are leftovers after cutting blouses. The bright colors have all shades of the rainbow. Different types of silk are used. Some are thin, some are thicker, some are shiny, others are matt. It is a long and slightly curving scarf, that is why it drops nicely. The sizes are 61 x 12 inches or 155 cm x 32 cm. It is hand-dyed and handmade in The Netherlands by Liz & Joe. Eco-friendly dyes were used. You can describe the style as arty and hippie chic. Shipping is included in the price.

I try to use up all the little leftovers that remain after cutting other garments because otherwise I would throw them away, and so trying not to contribute to the huge waste in the fashion industry. The length is about 68-70cm, the sleeves can be short, threequarter or long. The neck is round. The blouse is slightly fitting and wider towards the bottom. It is handdyed and handmade in the Netherlands. The style can be described as arty and hippie chic.
My designs are often inspired by trying to use up all the little leftovers after cutting other garments. The waste in the fashion industry is huge!
