Feel you. Angry about the steady replacement of all the older elliptical machines at Emory the past few years. The new ones are inferior. Completely screwed up my #histgym life. (I understand they need to be replaced, but hate the very bouncy replacements that give less info w fewer settings.)

That’s awesome. Had the same in the summer of 2022. Was older than you are, am sure, and it took ca 18-24 months, but had a nearly 100% recovery. Envious of that set of weights and what it means. #histgym

A #histgym complaint: Planet Fitness bought our local gym a couple months ago but promised to keep the weightlifting equipment. Well, the new power racks arrived & they’re horrible. Much worse quality and laughably low weight-bearing limits.

I feel my temple of refuge was desecrated!

Went to take a selfie the other day and just couldn’t. My face looked fat and I just looked and felt gross. So now I’m back to not only training, but training HARD. Anyway, here’s arm day at the #HistGym. No edits, no filters, no fucks given.
