Drifter and Altie ride the access elevator down to the immortal cell's chamber. The platform descends into a massive artificial chasm which spans the area of the entire isle of light. Huge pillars of unknown purpose line the bottom of it, resembling a lifeless underground city. As the two drifters close in on their ultimate task, an unbearable sense of anticipation and dread fills the air.

Drifter and Altie peer into the depths of the abyss after making their way through the gauntlet. Trapped in the pits, the fallen titan reaches out, beckoning them to join it in its hyper-light-soaked grave. Drifter holds the final module needed to enter the immortal cell’s chamber, and wonders if they will follow the titan’s silent call before they can complete their mission as Guardian did. There is a cold stillness to the air.

Two of the surviving machines from the great war, awoken from their stasis and running rampant in the sterile halls of the southern labs. The first, codename Archer, was a nimble but fragile unit made to distribute landmines across vast swaths of land in a short amount of time. It came equipped with a high power, hard light compound bow which could quickly take out any scouts or soldiers that compromised its position, build to tear through any hard light shielding they might have used, though it struggled against physical plate armors.

Two of the surviving machines from the great war, awoken from their stasis and running rampant in the sterile halls of the southern labs. The second machine, codename reaper, was built as a fast-moving, heavy hitting frontline unit. It was meant to run head first into battle supported by covering fire and at least five other units, sweeping with its scythe and carving a chunk out of the enemy forces before it could be effectively taken out. Reaper units never saw the light of battle, as they were seen as too impractical and expensive when compared to conventional arms such as missiles, and as such, the ones that were built remain in the labs where they were developed.

The first, codename Sorcerer, was a heavy plasma munitions platform, designed to combat and destroy the most heavily armored targets with a small and nimble frame. The second, codename Summoner, was a machine built for deception and subterfuge; capable of disguising itself as a power module and swarming any who would fall for its ruse with several plasma-spitting drones.
