We blocked in the whites on the squig and started on the mouth and lips. Slowly but surely making progress 😃

A screen shot of my somewhat less rough attempt at a 3D model of a "phasebook like" disk drive by the concept artist Sheng Lam. The 3D object has no texture and is a light grey. It has the proportions of a portable 3.5" floppy disk drive and a smattering of surface details. The cutout for the entry port for the disk is on the front face of the drive. There is the beginnings of a connection port on the right hand face of the drive towards the back. The top surface has a number of greedbles and a large raised panel covering the left rear quadrant of the surface.

yay! i'm actually learning. plasticity definitely sits well in my head, i can already see the mistakes i've made in the model and how i could redo it to make it better.
