Sarah was sharp enough to spot a kingfisher three times on our afternoon walk. Sadly I didn't even see it, let alone catch it on camera - but at least we know which part of the river they appear.
Over the next few weeks we'll keep looking.

Help please, I am standing at the junction of 3 wildlife sites #Hogsmill listening to amplified Buzzard, Peregrine, Sparrowhawk, and Turkeys. Please ask Kingston Council @RBK if it belongs to them; their operative, Veolia said not, yet it stops as soon as they stop.

The #Hogsmill came up this far yesterday overtopping many bridges, the highest for ~9yrs; only 9 years ago there was substantially more open land along the river, so tomorrow or the next day, it will be even higher
