A grey haired old gadgy enjoying the sunshine next to the river. Spending 15 minutes logging everything around him for the Big River Watch survey. I saw a Grey Wagtail... other than sheep... that was it.
After noticing a lot of pollution on this stretch of the River Coquet in Northumberland back in late Spring (dead fish, frogs and white powder encrusted rocks); I decided to do the #BigRiverWatch and #WaterBlitz pollution testing here. It looked much improved, but we'll see when the results are in.
