Thank you to our #FreshWaterWatch community groups and #GreatUKWaterBlitz participants who test their local rivers, lakes, ponds and streams, collecting valuable data which helps us build a picture of freshwater health across the UK! 💧💙 #VolunteersWeek
Just tested river water in Cricklade as part of the #GreatUKWaterBlitz with Earthwatch 💧
The results are clear: our rivers in the South Cotswolds aren't in good enough condition.
We need urgent action to stop sewage dumping and protect our waterways. #FreshWaterWatch #StopTheSewage

1st Callander Guides had a ball tonight taking samples and testing them for nitrates and phosphates to see how polluted the rivers are. We were pleased they weren’t - so I’m not pulling the plug on their canoeing and paddleboarding!
I took part in Earthwatch Europe’s #GreatUKWaterBlitz yesterday, sampling water at Christchurch Harbour.
Nitrate: 2.0, Phosphate: 0.2 — still a way to go for cleaner waters.
