Bleak news for #teammoth. Having apparently failed an inspection, one of the best local mature poplars for #hornetmoth is slated for felling.
Not criticising the City’s decision, public safety etc, just sad for the tree (height c35m, bole dia c.1.6m) and its likely inhabitants of 1&2yr-old larvae
