Like this is a problem every single fucking year the Lodestar has been awarded, and I think it's past time that there is clarification about what it should be awarding, because there is so much good YA SFF that is just being ignored #Hugo2024 #hugoawards

Looking at the #Hugo2024 long list and there really needs to be an amendment to the Lodestar guidelines because 1) the winner is an adult book published by an adult imprint and 2) why the hell was camp damascus (ALSO AN ADULT BOOK) so high on the long list #HugoAwards

Baldur’s Gate 3 absolutely deserves the #Hugo2024 award but if you’ve not played Chants of Senaar then give it a go: it’s absolutely amazing linguistic puzzle solving - best thing since Heaven’s Vault
