iPadOS 19 verrait apparaître une barre de menus sur iPad Apple aurait-elle décidé d’écouter les utilisateurs demandant une fusion un peu plus élaborée entre les différents OS de la marque, afin de faire de l’iPhone un ordinateur d’appoint, et de l’iPad un véritable ordinateur portable ? Entre la possibilité d’une interface avancée sur écran externe pour iOS 19, et maintenant le même fuiteur qui annonce l’apparition d’une barre de menus sur un iPad relié à un Magic Keyboard, il semble bien que Cupertino pourrait répondre à de nombreuses attentes ! Bientôt une barre de menus sur l’iPad ? Capture MacGeneration. Il y a quelques semaines, Mark Gurman avait déjà prédit que la prochaine version d’iPadOS se rapprochera un peu plus de macOS dans son fonctionnement, sans aller plus loin dans les détails. Mais Majin Bu, comme rapporté par MacRumors, nous en dit un peu plus, avec une proposition intéressante : une fois connecté à un Magic Keyboard (et possiblement aussi avec un couple clavier/souris externe), l’iPad verrait apparaître une barre de menus en haut de l’écran, dans l’esprit de l’interface existant depuis le premier Macintosh. Toujours dans un esprit de rapprochement avec macOS, iPadOS 19 verrait apparaître une nouvelle version de Stage Manager, permettant l’utilisation de plusieurs apps en même temps sur un écran externe. Comme toute rumeur, c’est bien entendu à prendre avec des pincettes tant que la WWDC ne l’a pas annoncé, mais voilà de quoi réchauffer le cœur de tous ceux qui attendent un comportement digne d’un ordinateur de la part d’un iPad, d’autant plus quand l’iPad Pro fait quasiment jeu égal avec un MacBook Air niveau puissance de calcul.
