Gorgeous golden light at Hvalnes, with the Eystrahorn mountain. iPhone shot as the wide angle lens for the big camera was in the car. Light had gone by the time I got back to the car.

Occasionally (not that occasionally) I make the mistake of going for a wander from the car only taking a camera and one lens (the big telephoto). And then the light changes and I have to use my

Last night, a man sat down in a 2-person booth across from us. He put a bouquet of flowers down on the table and sat there quiet and alone for 30 minutes, fumbling through his phone. Eventually, he seemed to feel enough time had passed so he walked out and crossed the street, leaving the bouquet on the table and everything else untouched. Was he stood up? Who was supposed to receive the flowers? Either way, we collectively felt whatever pain he might’ve been feeling in the moment.
