We have never seen so much water in our little creek. Of course we’ve only been here a year and last year at this time we were still cleaning it out. And still are.

By Eye On the fullest moon, over any expanse of open water, it’s best to measure the earth’s curve by eye. When the moon first rises on the horizon the immense curve cannot be denied. Then as night declines, the shadow of the sky holds easily against the shadow of the earth. The chameleon colors of water become foolish in the light of day, it imagines itself to be both water the body, and water the sky.
