Page 4: One of the bullies winds up to strike Azul. Azul is determined to protect the jar of algae / his alchemy reagent. He braces for impact. Behind him, two yellow orbs appear in the gloom of the kelp, followed by a set of hands reaching out. Azul doesn't see this, but the bully does and immediately freezes up. Azul is confused. Jade and Floyd make their presence known by touching one of Azuls legs each. Azul is stunned, then touched that they're helping him. (note: this fancomic is an interpretation of the first time Jade and Floyd chose to protect Azul) Azul's feelings quickly turn smug and he leers at the bullies, who have lost their nerve. Jade and Floyd glare, before Floyd snaps at them to 'scram'. The bullies start to flee, with Floyd following to ensure they leave. Page ends.

Page 5: Floyd turns and gives thumbs up - the bullies are not coming back. Floyd returns to Jade and Azul. Azul draws the twins attention, revealing the jar of algae / alchemy reagent. He gives an explanation of what it is, with the background of the panel reflecting Azul's imagined potion from the first page. In one corner, a stylized octopus with a strand of Azul's hair struggles to catch the algae clumps floating through the sea with a net. Its placement implies Azul has left this detail out of his explanation > he struggled to acquire the amount he has. Azul tries to look unbothered, but he's a little nervous that the twins won't be interested in what the reagent can do. Azul's expression softens however, because Jade and Floyd seem very interested. Azul relaxes, very happy with the outcome. Page ends + end of comic
