He's super sweet, loves to snuggle lol. Like I said, he's gonna lose a toe bc of the conditions he was kept in (I think he got smth tied around it, maybe a fight happened, might have been a mouse, idk). These things do happen, and as feather mum of birds that have lost toes due to whatever reasons, he will be fine, even if it's sore rn. It's probably gonna come off in a few days, but he'll be able to bounce back with the right care an environment.
He's only a few weeks old I think, so he'll be keeping my other older cockatiel company.
For anyone wonder, last Monday France (my other cockatiel of 18+) years lost his brother. He's taken the loss pretty hard, but since hearing this lil dude be brought in (Hudson is currently in a 3-5 day quarantine), he's parked up.
Echo has been keeping him company and protecting his birds from nasty mice, rats and crows who think they might make a nice meal.
I'll be introducing France and Hudson together very soon, so I'll try and give y'all an update then. Also, if ur reading this, would you like to potentially see more of France and Hudson Griffin in the future? My plan is to get Hudson to a point where he is 100% comfortable with human touch, so there's the possibility that could happen :)
I finally did it.
I finally named one of my many pets after him
Meet Hudson, short for Hudson Griffin.
Give me standing ovation 343! I DESERVE IT!
