Paige stares past stage left, stood rooted to the ground. Extending from her skirt are actually roots, crocus flowers in their midst. She has a large circular halo which contains thorny branches many hands grasping towards her. Strong light casts a shadow behind her of a distorted figure with thin branches and leaves extending in all directions. The halo also casts a shadow halo upon the silhouette. Shadows frame the left side in the shape of dense canopies of leaves, like thick stage curtains.
