A reference sheet for an original character named Tavaris Martin, re-imagined for a hero-themed alternative universe in which he'd play an antagonist role. The character is a masc-leaning, genderfluid, white half-elf with red hair and green eyes. He has a brown spot in his left pupil, a goatee and dresses in a masc, punk-rock, comfortable type of fashion, little sketches often showing him carrying a guitar case and wearing big noise-cancelling headphones. There's a text indicating he's between 35-39 years old. His alter-ego, a villain known as The Golden Lute, looks the part of a jester, his outfit being a mix between medieval and modern, a high-tech mask covering his face. The mask has a permanent grin on it. He's holding a png of a golden looking lute. All his clothes, both as a citizen and as a villain, share a color palette consisting of greens, teals, goldens and browns. Some sketches show old black and white mugshots of his parents, Ruth and Fynn, a pair of down-on-their-luck criminals. Next to these mugshots, there's a more recent one of Tavaris when he was younger, in full colour, looking rather smug and almost proud at the camera. Other pictures show him as a citizen working as a fantasy DoorDash driver, driving around on his bike or walking up to a home security camera, upper part of his face hidden under a hood or facing away from the viewer. We can see he's smiling, though, appearing to be friendly but giving very strange, almost menacing vibes. Another sketch shows him dressed as his alterego and unleashing some kind of hypersonic attack using his voice, possibly augmented by the tech in his grinning mask? Yes, that must be it. After all, only a hero, chosen and naturally born with the gift, would have that kind of power, and Golden Lute is known for hating their kind with a passion.
