Raw Story reports that a New York Times investigation has blown a hole in Defence Secretary Pete Hegsethβs latest account of a deadly Tue. 02-Sep-2025 drug-interdiction strike. According to the article, Hegseth had already approved contingency rules that allowed commanders to kill survivors if they took βhostileβ actions such as radioing suspected cartel contacts.
