A linen warp on a loom made of honey-colored wood. The 40/2 linen warp is undyed - the linen has a grayish-beige matte appearance. The foreground is plan weave but the 3-4 inches nearest the fell have irregular diamonds of huck spots. The pattern has 18 blocks and uses 20 shafts, with another four shafts dedicated to tubular double weave selvedges that might be a very bad idea.
