Introducing... Nooki and Inferna: Redux!
I am very pleased with how this turned out. It was quite challenging to mimic the fits he created, which are somewhat similar yet different from their original designs as drawn in our art trade. I particularly liked how he illustrated Nooki's hair and outfit, more so than Inferna's. Similar to what Jarod did, I've given the girls bangs, which I am currently experimenting with for my characters, so stay tuned! Usually, the character's eyes are over the bangs. Interestingly, Inferna has straight bangs now. Jarod also designed a hair antenna for her, which adds a unique touch that I find really sweet.
This post is casual and reflects my progress. I feel I've also succeeded in portraying Inferna as a bit older since some of my audience still perceives her as looking, dressing, and acting like a child. And of course, Nooki is still true to her character!
