Difficult question for the living embodiment of Eeyore, #PretendPanel but, as I was recently informed of reviews for both;
It is a tie between #InFog and #CantYouSeeMe. In wildly different ways they are everything I could have wanted them to be and I am surprised I wrote either.
If it's not the first thing I know, yes. #InFog got me good, for instance. As did many of my horror shorts. I knew how two of them were going to end before I started and the how they got there actually surprised me.

This seems unfair, #HorrorWritersChat, but I am enlisting the monstrous theybies from #InFog. They're probably more frightening than anything in that house. I would sleep like a baby...so long as they didn't turn their hunger on me.
Restful as my sleep had been, comforted by its compassion, the safety I had meant to it...I woke alone in the bed with my mind on death. What I had caused but also of mine, do I want to die? It heard me, of course—thoughts never my own—and it leapt onto the bed, bouncing beside me as I attempted to hide beneath the covers. Nothing like you, my love, it gave up pretending months before and even your colors had drained to whites and grays...but I saw you sometimes. In the quirk of its lips, the light on its cheek, even heard you in its giggles. Not quite sumptuous, but close, close enough to hurt. But that, the bubbly glee, that was it alone...and infectious.

I'm going to resurrect one of my idols, Edgar Allan Poe, and task him with re-imagining #infog.
He would likely take out most of the sexual content and replace it with more terrible longing for a lost love. I don't think he'd change the ending though...
