Word of mouth popularity led to a thriving small business that Henson would sell to Clorox in nineteen seventy two for eight million dollars. Ranch dressing was widespread only in the Midwest until nineteen eighty six. They would go nationwide when Doritos introduced Cool Ranch doRitos, which became an instant hit today. Ranch dressing is the most popular dressing in the world and is commonly used for salad dressing, death and seasoning, cementing Henson's legacy as a culinary innovator.
