Lytton Strachey (a Gibbon FAN) discussing the effect upon Queen Victoria of Disraeli's practised flattery: "Her unsophisticated intelligence gulped down his rococo allurements with peculiar zest." #Rococo #IShouldCoco

Supergrass at the Olympia Theatre the other night. Great gig, great crowd. Lots of middle aged people with their teenagers, which was nice to see. More of the same in Iveagh Gardens in July, looking forward to it. #supergrass #ishouldcoco

Enjoyed #Supergrass tonight in Cardiff, even though I’m in denial that my first year at uni was 30 years ago this year #IShouldCoco

4 photographs on a black background of the band Supergrass performing live at Manchester’s Albert Hall. Going clockwise from the top left is singer Gaz Coombes, bass player Mick Quinn, keyboard player Rob Coombes and drummer Danny Goffey. In each photograph is a watermark with the initials AO. The tour is part of a celebration of their album I should Coco that is now 30 years old.

A view from the station platform, looking down the track which leads to the thumping Metropolis. On the left, concrete steps up to the bridge at road level Two amber stop signal lamps glow. S for Supergrass sign on a lamp post.

Somewhere down the line there is a #Supergrass gig, and I'm going to find it. @supergrasshq.bsky.social #IShouldCoco

Montage of 8 photographs, 4 colour images on the left and 4 black and white images on the right. The colour photo on the left corresponds to the black and white image on the left as it is the same person. The colour pictures are of band members performing on stage at the Barrowland Ballroom venue in Glasgow. The black and white photographs are taken in backstage in the venues dressing room. The band is Supergrass. Top to bottom the photographs are of Gaz Coombes, Rob Coombes, Danny Goffey and Mick Quinn. The is a watermark in the middle of the montage with the initials AO and Photography directly under them.

One of my favourite bands at one of my favourite venues photographed front and back stage - @supergrasshq.bsky.social at the Barrowland Ballroom, Glasgow

Supergrass are playing there tonight and tomorrow. Sad to not be going this time but glad to be seeing them soon.

The image shows a Zeotrope vinyl LP record, the 30th anniversary edition of "I Should Coco", by Supergrass. This edition has been released for Record Store Day (today). The artwork shows the three original band members (Gaz, Mick and Danny), as well as other, cartoon-style figures: a policeman and dancing girls. The background colour is a gaudy green/yellow. The side shown is side.one, which has the tracks: 1. I'd Like to Know, 2. Caught by the Fuzz, 3. Mansize Rooster, 4. Alright, 5. Lose it, 6. Lenny. The tracks are listed in the centre of the record in black capitals. The word Supergrass appears in the centre in bold black capitals. Alongside is the album title in white block capitals. The vinyl is contained in a transparent plastic sleeve which has two stickers on it. One shows the original album cover artwork: avatars of the band members. The other has the product description printed on it. Both stickers have a barcode.

Early start, long queue, but vinyl camaraderie. Great to talk to people about speakers, amps, guitars, gigs, record collections, divorces, travels... The world in a grain of sand on #RecordStoreDay. #Supergrass #IShouldCoco @supergrasshq.bsky.social

What’s your favourite #supergrass song?

I’m seeing the band perform this album in its entirety in May 🗓️ Thought it would be rude to not buy it on record before then 🎵

What a fantastic debut 💿 #ishouldcoco (1995) 1️⃣ (although I still prefer its follow up #initforthemoney (1997)) 2️⃣
