Although I’m disappointed we won’t get to see #ItHappenedTomorrow (1944) on @tcm in 🇨🇦 today, I applaud the effort put into the selection to replace it. 1932’s pre-code #TheBlessedEvent technically has Dick Powell in it and the lead character’s role as a reporter drives the plot.
