A glimpse into the past meeting between a fed-up graduate student Himeko and the casual bartender & musician Kafka. A following night much later of their reconnection over a vested interest. And a moment from recent memory of the two’s shared lives together. The core of this fic follows the messy flashback of these two getting together, while it's introduction and conclusion take place during the current time where they're a happily married couple.
