On a plate on a table set for advent coffee and cake sits a perfect jello ring (actually, it was agar). The top and main layer was made with sour cherries, cherry juice, and powdered cloves. The bottom, far less visible layer, was made with coconut milk, vanilla, and cinnamon. Next time I'll use a lot more sugar and, for the coconut milk layer, far less agar. But it was all great with sweetened whipped cream and the vanilla sauce the neighbors brought.

My latest accomplishment: getting the jello ring out of the mold, woot! (Actually it was agar, because vegetarian.)
