Sad shopping experience at JoAnn today. I ventured to the Philly store to see what they had left. Got some decent yarn, rescued a lonely Halloween skeleton, got the coffee mug I tried to buy online when online sales ended. I think that was my last trip. 😕 #joannfabric #yarn 🧶
Aaaand Michael’s has a small amount of fabric - novelty, licensed and batiks all mixed with low quality, off brand “quilting cotton.”
That leaves me with two local options, but very high quality. Not cheap, but deals to be had in the “end of bolts” area.

The death of #JoAnnFabric is a gut punch. As a seamstress, there are no other fabric stores out in the sticks. I also made jewelry and art. It's going to be a cold day in FL before I would be seen in Hobby Lobby.
