Game #11: Pokémon Legends Z-A ✅
*Good, not great* is the overwhelming feeling. So much of it is JUST good Enough to be good, but would all have benefited from more... something. Not about graphical fidelity tbh, just Ambition. I enjoy how much they committed as an XY sequel though.

Game #10: Slay the Spire 2 ✅
This is an endless game and I will definitely still be fucking around w/it, especially multiplayer (with a variety of pretty boys 🫵😘) buuuut I've at least done one with em all so I consider that a tick if I never did more. Will be back after EA too.

Game #9: Dragon Quest III HD-2D ✅
First DQ game I actually rolled credits fully on, having bailed at Act 3 of DQ11. Overall I liked it but, not ravingly. It is v "Good" without breaking into Very Good, due to a variety of small issues compounding. Gr8 whimsy though. 8/8 4 whimsy.

Game #8: Suikoden (Gate Rune War, HD Remaster) ✅
I had not thought I'd be playing this rn, but glad I followed the impulse! I'd never played, but have watched playthroughs. Quite dated in spots (the remaster could have given more QOL) but <20 hours, charming, fun: all 😍 by me.

Game #7: Ace Attorney Investigations (1) ✅
Not so fun fact is that I played/beat most of this game, I think 8 yrs ago, when a family friend was dying and I was in and out of a hospice lots. I beat it the night of their death, at their home 🥲 So had long meant to replay it...

Game #6: Astro Bot ✅
I cannot believe how much I liked this. It's so cute and pays homage even to a lot of smaller PS titles (Suikoden mention???), just ughhhh. Really enjoyed x3 this was an ideal game to get as a Christmas gift, even though it took till now to beat.

Game #5: Hades 2 ✅
I will likely come back to this for post-game content later but credits rolled... what a good fucking game, holyyyyyy. Felt SO GOOD snowballing lategame and winning back to back to back attempts.

Game #4: Sonic Adventure 2 ✅
Last time I played was >10 years ago on an actual GC disc, but I replay SADX... a lot. Maybe every 18 months?
SA2 has higher highs but I like it less overall; Knuckles/Rouge levels hurt it, as does having so few Shadow levels. But yk it's still fun.

I liked it! The episode I dropped off on was by far the worst and the only one I really Did Not Like. But the rest was fun. I don't wanna THINK about some portions without Rewind though...

I did a decent amount of side quests and am GAGGED I beat it within 30h... no clue how. I was not underlevelled, I fused a ton, the only bit I rushed was near the end... I thought it'd take me 60, but even going "slow" I doubt I'd have broken 40. Strange! This was my first SMT :3

Game #2: Shin Megami Tensei IV ✅
Law ending. I enjoyed the game but honestly... I'd played 20~ hours and fell off. On this return, idk if I actually really enjoyed what lay beyond that much! The "karma" system sux imo. Fun framework and the OST bangs though. First 15 hrs are peak.

I didn't technically "beat" this but I've completed a run with each character and now... am sick of it lol. I will ver likely return sometime (literally maybe tomorrow) but I consider that Beaten enough for a €2.50 roguelite. Very fun! Just repetitive.

Game #26: Halo: Combat Evolved ✅
I was really pleasantly surprised by the first 6 (of 10) missions, but I think the quality dipped a lot for the last half. Admittedly I am bad at FPS games (partly why I played this) but idk, just got repetitive and unfun. Shooty spaceman though :3
