During the weekend of June 7-8 2008, Eva asked Yumi and Aelita to help her prepare for her upcoming grading where she will take her 1st dan black belt in krav-maga when she returns to California the first weekend in July. To help her multiply her chances of success as well as to face an extreme situation to prove that she hasn't slackened since she enrolled in Kadic, Eva had the ingenious idea to ask Jeremy that her friends be translated in order to show that she can stand up to them by being favored by their superhuman agilities worthy of the protagonists of the Matrix trilogy. Helped by XANA renamed Xavier Hopper since he became human for the girls' Translation, Aelita volunteered to do the test and she was translated in a section of the factory located on the 3rd floor, Eva joined her after a few minutes in the company of Jeremy, Yumi, Ulrich, Odd and Xavier who came to attend the event. The training lasted 45 minutes and was particularly intense since Eva asked her friend not to spare her by doing as if she was Morpheus training Neo in martial arts during the training sequence of Matrix 1 but without her using her powers so as not to take the risk of unintentionally hurting her, only her wado-ryu karate techniques. The most violent technique that the young american had to block was Aelita's powerful mawashi-geri that caused a violent bruise her left forearm where she used a jodan-age-uke for her defense against the powerful right leg of the ex-Keeper of Lyoko.
