Played John Company (second edition) this weekend. Definitely a departure from my usual Euro gaming. At three players, things never got as cutthroat as they could have with only minor disputes. I enjoyed it, but it was hard to plan with the dice controlling so much. #boardgames #johncompany

I used to have #Root firmly as my favorite game of all time. Then I played #Arcs, and it’s been complicated ever since.

I thought eventually I’d make up my mind, but instead what happened is I got to dive into #JohnCompany properly, and now I’m considering retiring the concept of “favorite”.

#JohnCompany was a completely new experience for me but I really liked it! Maybe a bit too much talking and negotiating. But a great experience nonetheless!
