Mono Monday : Record Rescue Edition - I've had this quite rare 1961 latin jazz album around for some time and hesitated to throw it out. Glad I didn't. A couple more washes and the vinyl is playing ok with the Mono cart. And while the cover is a mess, I at least was able to get the ugly tape off and reassemble it a bit. Had never seen this before anywhere and probably won't find another. Really nice stuff here including the great Johnny Pacheco who several years later would found Fania Records.
