It was a beautiful evening and a very low tide. They surfed till the sun went down. I bounced around with my fins in my hands cause the water was so shallow. Big grins on all of our faces.

The Historic Ventura Pier was originally constructed in 1872. This historic site, which was once the longest wooden pier in California is 1,620 feet long and has 271 timber piles holding it up with the outward end made of steel with 92 steel piles.
