A Canada geese couple with three goslings along with a mallard duck couple are pictured at the shoreline of the Illinois River at Peoria. Two goslings are poking around on the rocky beach while their parents watch, while the third gosling is approaching the water. The mallard couple is behind them, near what appears to be a dock or pier, the female on the shore, the male still in the water.
And eastern spot billed duck and roughly eight ducklings are seen in a small creek running through the Kenroku gardens in Kanazawa, Japan. The mother is standing in the water while the ducklings are bobbing in the water and practicing feeding.
