Fray (red hair) wanders through a plaza in Ishgard when they notice someone humming nearby. Curious, they approach a patch of flowers where a hyur is quietly busy picking blooms.

Upon closer inspection, they realize the hyur is another version of themselve, one they privately call the "colorful" one for obvious reasons. They doubt they have much in common and consider leaving him alone. But Fray (flower hairpin) had noticed them long before that. He explains he’s gathering specific flowers to give to some guests. Fray (red hair) startles at being addressed and tries to hide their curiosity as a simple coincidence.

He politely asks if they’ll help him pick the flowers, and they turn him down with their usual snark. But Fray (flower pin) has a disarmingly persuasive smile and voice, enough to make them cave and let their guard slip.

They eventually give in and help him, and the simple task ends up carrying them well past sundown.

Not the same, but not that different either ~🌼

Fray kneels, holding a measuring tape to the other’s thigh, reluctantly admitting his are bigger. Annoyed at losing yet another of their little rivalry games, the kneeling Fray mocks him, saying big thighs are useless without much use, implying he doesn’t get laid often enough. The standing Fray replies that even if given the chance, they wouldn’t know what to do with him, while also teasing them about their size. The kneeling Fray mumbles as their head is gently pushed down by the standing one.

The kneeling Fray suddenly bites the other’s thigh hard enough to draw blood. The standing Fray, shocked at first, quickly snaps back, calling them a mangy beast. Still chewing on his thigh, the kneeling Fray says that being called a beast is an upgrade from "runt" and admits they’re happy with the result.
