Lev Shvarts (he DID thank his wife and said it's great that she doesn't do the mushing thing but she understands it): "This is the best jammin' race. I don't do any other races because after doing this one there's no comparison." He says we gotta keep the #K300 alive.

KattiJo noted that she planned for this #K300 to be her final race. She doesn't like racing, gets too nervous. Says Jeff is on his own from here on out. But when the weather was so nice at the start she was worried that the race would go well and she'd want to do it again. 1/2

Lauro made a quip about how cool it was to get an actual check. He also said that running the #K300 has been on his bucket list and he can't wait to come back. "This is probably the most fun I've had in a race, it felt like an actual race." (meaning he wasn't alone for most of it out in the woods)

Josh McNeil said that the race did not go as planned and they didn't get the placement he'd hoped for. Josh posted earlier today that he reinjured his shoulder (which he broke last time he ran the #K300) so when he spoke he said "My dr says I need to stop coming out here, so I need a new dr."

Red lantern winner Charlie Chingliak (17 years old!) was invited up to the stage and introduced as "The single best dressed musher" in this year's race.
Charlie said "This race is really long, I didn't get any sleep, all of these mushers make it look easy." #K300
