Just now watching the Bib "draw" from the #Kusko300 ( #K300 ) and holy hannah there was a big oops.
In the Kusko the musher chooses their number based on order of sign up, so first musher can pick bib 10 for example, and so on.
They skipped Ryan Redington and didn't realize it until almost the end

Emily knew she would be the only musher under 18 in the 2025 #k300. She didn’t expect to also be the only rookie as well as the only female! Emily is the only musher in the race who has not competed in the Iditarod! This race will test her abilities and she will need to dig deep to get through the next 12 or more hours!

Getting reports from those in the KuskoDelta that with the current temps and weather, they don't think the #Kusko300 will run on time (I did not confirm this with officials). Just based on local experience.
Will they postpone or just give it up for the year? Time will tell.
