[ part 1: designing the card ]
being ✨extra✨ is a new years resolution frfr
i will always be grateful to my mom for instilling in me the importance of doing thank you notes -

wavy lines in a dark gold in dog hair, a gradient is formed from the top being a darker gold to the bottom being a light yellow almost white. not all the hairs are perfectly in place, but they form waves and lines in a mostly uniform pattern.
two wooden things stacked on top of one another forming parallel and perpendicular lines in their forms. the dark wood forms of the objects is contrasted by the light brown brick behind it, with the shadow causing a gradient from the upper left corner being lighter to the lower right corner being darker.
the shape made by light shining through the window on the floor. it creates a half circle, with three lines separating the arch into slices almost like an orange. in this area of light there is a crack going through and the grey of the concrete floor is occasionally interrupted by some orange stains. outside of this light is darkness, with not much visible.
a stack of journals and papers, ranging in color due to aging and use with the pile almost being random in the arrangement. it is not evenly or perfectly stacked, however all the lines of the paper are parallel to each other and clearly defined, with some crinkled due to use and water damage and some being still perfectly intact. they are sitting on top of a transparent tub with a blue lid, and behind them is a blurry background that is dark.
