This past Friday was a waxing crescent with 7.3% illumination.
Slivers of the moon are hard for me to capture with much clarity, but I'm happy with this one. I darkened it to show more of the surface.

I caught this Double-crested Cormorant drying his wings on our Anna Maria Island trip last month. They dive for fish so I'm assuming he got his meal and was waiting for his wings to dry. I love the aqua eyes they have.
