Even worse, Kazehaya misunderstood that she was in love with someone else and he rejected her!

Sawako forgot what she was even going to say 😂😭

Kurumi ‘finds’ Sawako’s shoe and the pair speak a little. Sawako is also unsure what to call Kurumi- testing with the ‘Mi-chan’ name again since Kurumi said she can’t call her ‘Kurumi-chan’. Kurumi flusters and says ‘Mi-chan’ makes her feel inferior.

Sawako is confused, she thinks ‘Mi-chan’ is a cute name. Kurumi thinks it’s old fashioned and is jealous of her grandma who gets to be called Sakura. Sawako is confused “Ah but I’m Sadako… Sawako!” Kurumi says it sounds nice… She’s been calling her that from the start 🥹

Sawako invites Kurumi to the court to watch Kazehaya play sport, of course Kurumi wouldn’t miss that! She admits it, albeit in a flustered and tsundere-ish way (god she’s cute!!! Sooooo my type!!) Sawako notes that Kurumi is ‘different from what she initially imagined but-‘

Sawako has her hair tied in a big bun for the soccer match h at school the next day. After a lot of practice paid off, she managed to successfully kick the soccer ball! Good for her! Not so good is that she accidentally lost her shoe in the process

Kurumi’s real name is actually Kurumizawa Ume

Sawako timidly starts calling Kurumi ‘Mi-chan’, nervous over what Kurumi wanted to talk in private about. Sawako didn’t see her face but Kurumi sees annoyed, inevitably she snaps “don’t call me mi-chan!”

Sawako is startled but just as quickly, Kurumi reverts to her sweet self again (heck yeah!! I adore the two personalities lol). Sawako worries she made Kurumi angry bc she gave her a shorter nickname. Kurumi then starts tell her story- she has someone she likes

Part of what Kurumi says is likely true; she likes Kazehaya, she secretly controls the girls around him(by making them think he belongs to everyone, which he does lol) and makes sure no one gets too close… which Sawako did, hence why Kurumi moved forward and ‘befriended’ her. She begs Sawako to help her via teary eyes(she’s seen applying tear drops behind Sawako’s back) but Sawako refuses

Sawako is moved by Kurumi being ‘so cute, so nice and friendly’. She thinks Kurumi is different- the One person she can speak to ok without stuttering or blushing or getting all nervous! She’s very relieved they have a natural feeling conversation

‘She isn’t angry!?’ Sawako expects people to be mad over the slightest thing, Kurumi treats her kindly and offers to help her. Sawako wishes she could be more like Kurumi, she imagines being more outgoing but for some reason comes to the conclusion that means American 😂😂Kurumi is confused (understandable)

Sawako wonders if there’s some sort of special relationship between Kurumi and Kazehaya, she denies it and says it’s normal. Sawako is shocked- normal standards are so high!! (They are!!) People can talk to each other without getting all tense!? (They can!? 😭😭teach me senpai…)
