What an amazing day! Yesterday was my last day here for the season and we had fresh powder and literally no one else skiing at the top of the ropeway for the first hour. This longer video is at 10:50AM.

Super hot 22 C day so did a short few runs. I’m really loving the first few this season in the warm weather. At night it’s cold enough so first tracks are really rewarding in terms of speed.

Catching up with my posts today. Sunday was a beautiful bluebird sky day but the pistes were fast and hard for the first two hours so I got in some nice very speedy runs. The weekends only “Red Run” is great.

Conditions were surprisingly good on piste this morning since there was far less snow at Ryuoo than forecasted. The pistes were super soft and there was still lots of light fluffy #powder in the side country.

About 30cm fell in 90 minutes this morning at the beginning of the giant cold front that’s moving in. Bottom of Ryuoo is relatively low around here so it was amazing to have so much #powpow so quickly.

Weather was surprisingly good all morning despite the forecast for heavy snow and high winds. The hard packed snow with about 5cm of fresh light powder in upper area at 1900m was just perfect.
