And his cock.' -- Caleb Burke Micky and his new friends are amusing, bring a little comedy to some otherwise tense moments. I also love how resourceful they turn out to be. I couldn't put down Stefan (Stef, King Stefan) Talbot and Jennifer (Jen) Waters' story. The heartache, heartbreak, love, danger, friendships, and series crossover were terrific! -- Book quote 'He was a Dom of the first order, known for taking care of his subs, but he fumbled the minute she batted those eyes at him.' -- Stefan Talbot Stef is a champion at putting his foot in his mouth when it comes to Jen. He always thinks he knows best, but I love when she shows him that he knows nothing. Things definitely get dicey, literally and figuratively speaking, bringing danger to Bliss. It does get dark. I'm uncertain that Teeny and Marie will let their son out of their sight again after this latest shake up. As the story unfolds, I love that we get to see some future couplings start to take root or reignite. I also love that everyone calls out Stef on his foolishness. There are many cameos, including the Harper twins who seem to liven things up with their over-the-top behavior when it comes to their pregnant wife, Rachel. As much as I love all the Bliss shenanigans, I equally love the crossover with the Masters and Mercenaries series, as Ian Taggart and Liam O’Donnell join in for a bit. I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrators, Kitty Bang and Lee Samuels, are great. I do wish for duet, but I'm not complaining about the narrators. Story: 5 stars Narration: 4 stars Listening Speed: 1.8x H = 32; h = 23
