A flat piece of knitting is spread on a ratty ricking chair footstool. The pattern is Emotional Support Chicken; the tail portion is knit in alternating spring green and pale purple, the main body is maroon, with an additional dark blue stripe and green and purple stripes at the neck. The chicken is being knit in honor of Ann Pinkham, my mom, who passed this past March. Maroon is her favorite color, lime green is mine. Love you Mom!

Today there was a national 🧶knitting fundraiser to raise $$ for food charities - the 5th annual Will Knit For Food #knitforfood knit a thon. So, I was knitting with you all in spirit for a solid 12 hours; we raised $500K for Meals On Wheels, No Kid Hungry, Feeding America & World Central Kitchen.
