Cowl week!

This cowl was a pandemic project. I decided to take on something stranded that would force me to master 2-handed colorwork. It took the better part of a a year and the difference in gauge between the beginning and ending inches is laughable.

So here is a ridiculous top-down patternless cabled poncho. By the time I got to a point that resembled an end, I had strung together at least 4 of the longest circular needles that I owned at the time. It took me days to bind off.

Ah! Sock week. These are the biggest and bestest socks I've knitted. Very warm, very useful. Made from 2 balls of very ugly but good quality sock yarn acquired from a charity shop for very little money.
