Biennale Arte 2026, il progetto di Koyo Kouoh "come un sussurro" Venezia, 27 mag. (askanews) - La Biennale Arte 2026 si terrà nel segno del progetto della curatrice Koyo Kouoh, nonostante la sua improvvisa scomparsa il 10 maggio scorso. Si intitolerà "In Minor Keys" e verrà portata avanti dal team di persone che hanno lavorato con Kouoh per concepite la sua Biennale. In una cerimonia che è stata anche un omaggio alla curatrice africana, il presidente della Biennale Pietrangelo Buttafuoco ha racontato che cosa si è deciso di fare dopo la tragica notizia. "Il suo gesto - ha detto il presidente - è quello di un pensatore che, giusto nel titolo è esplicitato, sussurra, anche da un altrove. Il suo è un lavoro che arriva a noi ed è adesso a tutti voi offerto in una mole preparatoria che è già progetto. La Biennale fa oggi quello che da 130 anni fa: realizza, mette a terra, edifica l'idea di un curatore che oggi nell'assenza è presente per suggerire da quell'altrove una strada. Ed è una strada precisa: è il futuro". Particolarmente toccante il momento nel quale sul palco sono stati letti dei versi di Koyo Kouoh. La Biennale si terrà a Venezia dal 9 maggio al 22 novembre 2026, i dettagli sul progetto e sulle partecipazioni nazionali saranno resi noti nella conferenza stampa di presentazione ufficiale, prevista il prossimo 25 febbraio.
