#kpopconfession i really didn't listen to k-pop anymore from 2018 - 2024. if it wasn't for taemin (and shinee), i probably would have never found back to kpop.
#kpopconfession
my #kpopconfession is that if idols wanna leave their group, we should support them for that decision, like, gurl, we dont know whats going on behind the scenes, so let them live their life how they want.
my #kpopconfession is that I'm more drawn to soloists than groups with the exception being SHINee and my branching out to like 3 new groups recently. I think there's something about so many different voices in a song that I can't get used of and that I don't like voices that sound too young. 😭
My #kpopconfession is that at the second kpop concert I ever went to, I was so weirded out and feeling like I didn't belong that although I had some kind of mid-tier-VIP ticket (it was cheap) I skipped out on the group photo. 😭
But I did get a fistbump from Moonbyul on the way out. ☺️
my #kpopconfession is that i don't actually like all that much kpop if i'm being honest lol
My #kpopconfession is that without SHINee or TWICE in the picture I'd probably be over k-pop by now. This doesn't mean I don't enjoy other groups or songs, but both groups (and soloists in SHINee's case) are so quintessential to my enjoyment of it that if they weren't there I wouldn't be either.
My #kpopconfession is I cannot endlessly praise talk the same group/members/songs, I find it exhausting. I've been in idol communities for many years, but that's because I connect with people in those spaces beyond just wanting an ad nauseum group chat of the same four fangirl conversations.
I guess my #kpopconfession is that I don’t really care about having an ult or a bias. for me it’s always been if I like a group, I tend to like all the members equally and if I don’t, then I’m usually just a casual listener and wouldn’t call myself a fan.
My #kpopconfession is that I don’t really enjoy music videos and rarely watch them. You all would probably be shocked at how few SHINee mvs I’ve seen
what’s your #kpopconfession
here’s mine:
i’ve been a moa for years & the new album is not great. none of the songs stand out. it’s not working. they’re burnt out & going through the motions.
i still adore them as people & bought the full set like i always have but yeah this was a disappointment
