kerdly dynamic where kris is at peace with their feelings for berdly, and doesn't feel the need to confess, because they're his friend and that's enough for them. they like being around him and don't care if it's platonic or not as long as he's enjoying his time with them. ...meanwhile, berdly is approaching his feelings for kris like he's a dating sim protagonist, which is to say he's attempting to impress them and get closer to them so they'll confess to him first, and he's panicking because he doesn't understand why it's not working. kris takes berdly out on what's very obviously a date (but like, platonically i guess, but also not) and berdly is fucking SWEATING bc he's thinking "this is it, this is the day i finally reach the confession scene in the VN of my love life! i knew they would admit it eventually, despite their kuudere ways..." and kris is just like "yaayyy my friend :D i'm having dinner with my friend that i like :D i love my friend yippeeee :D"

when berdly gets sick, he'll kinda just be laying in bed all snotty-nosed and whining that he can 'handle himself just fine' but can't even get up from under the blankets, and kris can't help but laugh a little at how dumb and cute he looks. they feed him spoonfuls of soup while he watches anime on his phone and says stupid things due to his delirium, and then he falls asleep pretty quickly and they can go tidy things up a little while he rests. and maybe they'll cuddle him if they're not too worried about catching what he has. with kris it's a different story. no matter how much he tries to prepare, berdly always panics and blanks on what to do when actually in the face of the situation, and it doesn't help when he's unable to reach toriel or susie or anyone else who could assist him. kris is a sweaty, ghost-pale, violently shivering, dry-heaving mess, the kind of sick that cries and moans in pain and can't keep down anything besides plain white rice and water. and while berdly can sleep like a baby when he's sick, kris is the opposite; they can't get a single second of shut-eye because they're so nauseous. it gets even worse when they start crying from how frustrated and humiliated they feel, and berdly can't figure out how to comfort them. after the initial panic, berdly can usually get them settled with a hot water bottle on their stomach and an open window for some fresh air, and while neither of them are keen on cuddling while kris is like this, they do seem to like having their back rubbed...
