A large tree with soft green leaves has small flowers ranging from almost white to deep pink. It's growing on a golf course with short cropped grass, and other trees around. Blue sky with scattered cloud above.
A week ago, we walked past the golf course at Argenton (Newcastle NSW) and this beautiful Lagunaria (Norfolk Island hibiscus) was in full flower.

A sweet little pink flower with five pink petals, and in the centre a stem with bunches of yellow clusters and finally a little cream coloured "flower" at the end. The leaves are a soft green and there's lots of unopened buds.

Lovely to see the Lagunaria, Norfolk Island Hibiscus is getting its flower on. Lovely things, and all over Newcastle NSW.
