Scattered showers and thunderstorms continue to pass through the Northland Monday night, with fog likely across the region.  Winds will be breezy with low temperatures in the 30s and low 40s.  Tuesday will see more scattered showers north of Highway 2 with fog lingering near Lake Superior thanks to a light lake breeze.  Highs will range from the 40s near the lake to the 50s and low 60s further inland.

The satellite and radar over the Northland at 4 p.m. on April 13, 2026, shows a scattered line of showers moving in from the south and southwest, covering the southern most counties in our region.  Additional sprinkles are also being detected by the radar in the Iron Range and Rainy River Basin regions.

The Storm Prediction Center has shifted the severe weather threat for the Northland for the rest of Monday even further southeast.  Only northwest Wisconsin, especially the southern areas of Burnett, Sawyer, and Washburn counties, are the places that could see a few thunderstorms with hail and strong winds.

#Showers and a few #thunderstorms are moving back into the #Northland from the south and southwest.

Thanks to #cooler #temperatures and a #lakebreeze, the strongest #storms are likely not going to be #severe.
