The satellite and radar over the Northland at 1:30 p.m. on April 1, 2026, shows cloudy skies across the region. A few breaks of sunshine are being observed in the Boundary Waters and North Shore regions. While the radar is picking up some possible snow and rain showers just to the west of the region, surface observations are not detecting any precipitation reaching the surface at this time. The showers from an approaching storm system will move in from southwest to northeast this evening and overnight.
