I feel like the NPC designs in Curious Village all share a lot more of the same features than the ones in Diabolical Box, but I can't say for sure without finding or making some kinda chart.

I love that the Professor and Luke heard a blood curdling scream, ran off to investigate, but then had to stop, take a commemorative photo, solve 2 puzzles, then have a cup of tea, before reaching the screamer.
